Jonty grew up in South Devon, graduated with a BSC Hons Degree in Maritime Business & Law, then spent a number of years working around the world. Jonty began in the UK financial planning industry over 20 years ago, initially as a financial researcher, paraplanner, then qualifying as a financial planner and now chartered ALIBF. He enjoys the diversity, ongoing learning and problem solving the role brings, as well as building relationships with clients and colleagues.
Jonty has volunteered for various charities during his career, including being chairman of the board of trustees for Age UK Devon for 4 years. Now with a young, active family he can be found as an RNLI Lifesaving volunteer, at the Rugby pitch, on the Motocross track or at the Beach. He still enjoys surfing as often as possible, becoming English Masters surfing champion in 2015 and placing 4th in the British Nationals the same year.
